When should summer bulbs be planted?Updated 13 days ago
Summer-flowering bulbs and plants should be planted between late February and late May. Bulbs should always be planted in the same season which they have been supplied, ideally soon after delivery while they're fresh and most viable. If the growing conditions are not suitable or you can plants them straight away for any other reason, bulbs, tubers and rhizomes supplied early in spring can be stored for a few weeks in cool, airy and dry conditions with the packets left open.
