How often should Peonies be watered?Updated 20 days ago
Once established, peonies only require watering during prolonged periods of drought. They do not like to be in wet conditions all the time and if Peonies are over watered, the leaves can start to curl and stems can begin to rot. Newly-planted Peonies should be watered more regularly in their first year while they are settling in, but should only be watered when the soil begins to feel dry 5cm below the surface.
