How do you overwinter Colocasia?Updated 17 days ago
The most reliable way to keep a Colocasia over winter is for the bulb to remain potted in dry compost and kept in a room which is between 15-20C. If your Colocasia has been growing outside in the ground it should be transferred into a pot in autumn and then moved indoors. The soil/compost around the bulb should be kept mostly dry while the bulb is dormant with only very light, occasional watering from time to time.
