Do perennials spread or multiply?Updated 14 days ago
Perennials spread over time to form a clump which increases in size and vigour. The best way to multiply your perennial is to split an established clump into 2-4 smaller clumps between autumn and early spring and either re-plant them in separate locations, or together in a group with some space between them. This should only be done once the clump is established and not while the perennial is still young.
