During winter and spring (December to May) offer a wide range of summer-flowering bare roots and bulbs, many of which are perennial grow back each year. Please note that some perennial plants, such as dahlias and begonias, are not hardy. Summer bulbs listed as perennial but also 'tender', 'tropical' or 'half hardy' should be kept in frost free conditions over winter in order to grow back successfully for another year. Hardy bare root perennials should be left undisturbed outdoors over winter, but will benefit from an application of mulch during their first winter while they settle in to protect them from severe weather.
