How deep do you plant bulbs?Updated 8 months ago
As a general rule for spring flowering bulbs, plant at a depth that is 2-3 times the height of the bulb. There are some exceptions so please check the recommended planting depth for specific varieties in our detailed planting and care instructions.
Some summer bulbs, such as dahlias, begonias and colocasia, should be planted very shallowly with the top level with the soil surface. If you can't find the information you require in our planting instructions, feel free to ask by contacting customer care.
